 Reaching The Lost For Jesus

I was At the hospital ministering to patients that suffered traumatic injuries. Forgive me for not mentioning the name of the hospitals or the name of the patients. I don’t want to violate their privacy.
I went into the emergency room and the Doctor stopped me and asked me to talk to a patient of hers, they were really in trouble. I went to see the patient, and he was accompanied by his father. He was 17 years old he had been shot several times. He was crying and his father was sad and you could see the concern on his faces. I entered the room and said hi, I am reverend Stevens can I talk to you for a few minutes? The father said yes. I asked the son what had happened? He stated that he had just got home from work and before he could enter his house he was shot multiple times. The doctors were able to remove all the bullets except one which was lodged in his leg. I expressed my sorrow for what had happened and pat him on the back as  He continued shedding tears. I myself was amazed when he told me that he had been shot so many times, I said praise God, thank you, Jesus. His father joined in with me and rejoiced that God had intervened and saved his life.
The Son was weeping and I assumed that it was because of the pain, I was wrong. I asked him was he in a lot of pain. He said yes but that is not why I am crying. He said that he don’t understand why God did this to him. He said that he goes to school and gets all A-s, he works two jobs, and he is on the basketball team. When the son made that accusation I asked the father if they were Christians? The father said they use to go to the Church a long time ago. Then I understood that the son didn’t really know God. I told the son people don’t get shot as many times as he did and live unless God is there and protects their lives. No young man, God saved you. Evil wanted you and God said no. His father said Amen, and you can see the relief that came over him. I prayed with them and the Father said we are going back to church, Thank you, Rev. Stevens.
There are so many people who know of God but don’t know God. It is the responsibility of those who know God to help those who don’t know God come to know Him. Do You Know God?
