Devotional

I tell you that on judgement day people will be responsible for every careless thing they have said said. THE WORDS YOU HAVE SAID WILL BE USED TO JUDGE YOU. SOME OF YOUR WORDS WILL PROVE you right but some of your words will prove you guilty( Matt 12:36-37).

You may have experienced a time when you walked upon a group of people that were talking  negatively about someone you know. Even though you don’t join in, you don’t walk away.  You want to hear if the person is having the same kind of difficulties as you. This only serve to make the judgement harsher when we don’t walk away. Invite the Holy Spirit into your conversation so that you may be prompted when the conversation gets out of hand.Consider how you would feel if you were the topic of this hurtful talk. The Holy Spirit will guide you to walk away before it gets worse.
