What We Believe

At Immanuel Church of Jesus Christ, we believe that God created the heavens and the Earth by fiat. We believe In the Holy Trinity. The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. We believe that they are three individual persons, And yet one God (Duet 6:4). They are not each part God, God does not come in parts. Each person in the Trinity is fully God. Each person in the Godhead is equal in every way. We believe that God created the earth and everything in it in five days and on the sixth day He created man. We believe that all three members of the Trinity participated in the creation. We believe that on the seventh day, God looked at His creation and called it Good (Gen 1:31), so on the seventh day God rested.

We believe that God Gave Adam whom he created the command not to eat from the tree in the middle of the Garden nor shall you touch it or you will die (Gen 3:3). WE believe that He did eat from the fruit and broke God’s law. We believe that God announced the coming of a savior to save humanity because when Adam disobeyed God he forfeited His immortality.(Gen 3:15). We believe that God had a plan in eternity past before He created the world to save humanity through His Son. We believe that all three members in the Godhead participated in the salvation of Humanity ( Eph 1:3-14).
