Why art thou cast down, oh my soul (Psalms 43:5)

There are only two reasons for your soul to be cast down. If we have not been converted, which is a good enough reason for our souls to be cast down, or we have been converted and live in sin, in that case, we should be cast down. With the exception of these two things, all else we can take before God in prayer, supplication, and thanksgiving, we may exercise Faith in the power of God and love. My friends, Hope in God. There is never a time we can’t hope in God. Whatever our necessities, however great our difficulties, no matter how things appear to be. Our business is to hope in God, and it will be found not to be true in vain. In God’s own time, help will come. Hope in God, my friends,
