Don’t worry, “The Peace of God will keep Your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus” (Phil 4:7).

Brothers and Sisters don’t worry, the moment you believed in Jesus Christ and the work He did on the cross, dying for your sins, your peace with God was secured. You are no longer enemies with God. Your peace with God was secured at Calvary through faith in Jesus Christ. This is the sure result of taking God’s cure for worry. There may be no change in your circumstances, but there will be a change in your heart and mind. The Apostle Paul prayed three times for his thorn in the flesh to be removed, and God answered him each time, My grace is sufficient. The condition was not changed, but his heart was changed, his attitude toward his affliction was changed because of the reassuring Word of God.

Have you ever heard of God being worried? or disturbed? He is Omnipotent and all-powerful; Nothing is too big for Him. He is Omniscient, All knowing: nothing can take Him by surprise. He is omnipresent: He is everywhere at the same time. Since this is true, can we not trust Him? Can we not have peace in our hearts? To worry is to doubt God. The peace of God transcends all understanding, Thats the peace – the kind of perfect peace that God has, that He will give to us. A peace that is so wonderful, that you will be surprised when you find out you possess it. A peace that is so strange under the circumstances that you cannot understand how you have it. When you keep your minds fixed on Jesus Christ, His greatness, His power, and His Love, then He keeps our hearts and our minds in perfect peace, A peace that transcends all understanding.
