Devotional

Guilt. Is one of the primary causes of mental illness frustration and worry. If you have an overwhelming sense of guilt and you go to the psychiatrist because you don’t know why you are feeling so bad, and the doctor discovers that you have a guilt complex, he may even prescribe you some pills to help you forget your troubles, but when you sober up, the guilt is still there because he can’t cure you from your guilt. My friends hear God, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Only the assurance of God’s forgiveness can relieve a troubled mind. Ask the Lord to forgive you and take away this guilt that impeds your ability to live the life he has given you to live and enjoy in Jesus’s Name.
