Devotional

Greetings my friends Grace and Peace to you in the name of Jesus. It is wonderful to have relationships with people. God created us to have a verticle relationship with Him and a horizontal relationship with people. Sometimes we form loving and trusting relationships with a person and if we are not careful we find ourselves putting people up on a pedestal, We focus on them, and we find our security in them. We become horizontally locked in on a person that he or she takes the place of God in your life. You can put your complete trust in one person. It can be your parent, your child, it could be a business partner, a friend, your pastor, your coach, or your mate. But when the ground starts shifting under your feet, and surely it will, you become totally disillusioned. Your heart is broken, and when you come to your right mind, you come to the conclusion that you can not put all your trust and complete trust in no person. There is only one cure. put your complete hope and trust in the living God and Lord Jesus Christ.

You are my hope; O Lord God, You are my confidence, (Psalm 71:5).
