“Love your enemy; bless the one who curses you, do something wonderful for the one who hates you, and respond to the very ones who persecute you by praying for them.” ( Matthew 5:44).

Are you in a fight with someone? Are you holding a grudge against someone who has wronged you? As people, we hurt one another; that’s sad. But we have the strength, the power to forgive. We can choose to do the only thing that can free us from negative feelings toward others. Let us be intentional about blessing them. Make it a priority to mend the relationship. Pray for them and do something wonderful for them. Let the power of God dwell in you richly, and glorify your Father in Heaven through Jesus Christ our Lord.
