Devotional

“You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation. a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his Marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9).

Darkness affect us differently from light. Darkness changes the way we see our surroundings. We become aware of the hidden dangers that are present. The same dangers may be there in the light however we are mostly likely to see it in the light where as in the dark we cannot see the danger but it is there.Even the sounds that we hear at night although they are the same sounds we heard in the day we feel different about the sound in the dark. Can you imagine the experience of a person that  is living their life without Jesus, The Light of the world. People ae anxious, fearful, and unsure of the future. But Jesus give us lighten that light we find hope, and life and love and healing. You can bring light into the life of someone today who is living in darkness.
