Devotional

But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? (1 John 3:17)

Look around and see how blessed you are; you can take care of your family, have breakfast to eat, coffee to drink, a place to dwell, nice clothes to wear, and shoes on your feet. breakfast to eat, maybe not the best but a car to get you from one point to another. These are just a few things that others cannot do. You don’t have to feel guilty about things you have but be thankful. Be thankful that even though your house is dated, you have been able to provide for your family. Every time you think about complaining, remember some people have less than nothing. Think about how much God loves them and wants their needs to be cared for. Find it in your heart to share the love that God has given you with others.
