PEACE AND LOVE AND GRACE AND JOY AND JESUS

Romans 5:1-11 ( ICB ) 1We have been made right with God because of our faith. So we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.  2Through our faith, Christ has brought us into that blessing of God’s grace that we now enjoy. And we are happy because of the hope we have of sharing God’s glory.  3And we also have joy with our troubles because we know that these troubles produce patience.  4And patience produces character, and character produces hope.  5And this hope will never disappoint us, because God has poured out his love to fill our hearts. God gave us his love through the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to us.

6Christ died for us while we were still weak. We were living against God, but at the right time, Christ died for us.  7Very few people will die to save the life of someone else. Although perhaps for a good man someone might possibly die.  8But Christ died for us while we were still sinners. In this way God shows his great love for us.

9We have been made right with God by the blood of Christ’s death. So, through Christ we will surely be saved from God’s anger.  10I mean that while we were God’s enemies, God made friends with us through the death of his Son. Surely, now that we are God’s friends, God will save us through his Son’s life.  11And not only that, but now we are also very happy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through Jesus we are now God’s friends again.

Greetings Friends, God’s people, greeting to those who are not God’s people, Grace and peace to you in the name of God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Enemy or friend It is good to see you today. I am especially happy to be with you today because God wants us to celebrate what He has done and is continuing to do in our lives. Now if you are being honest, you are asking yourselves what has God done and continue doing that we should celebrate? Hey, I understand what you mean, after all we are living in a world where men think that they are superior to other men, We live in a time where airplanes are used to bomb other people who are created in the image of God, Dope dealers live in and corrupt our entire neighborhoods. Children are being murdered daily, Employers and Employees are protecting their back from each other, Husband and wife are unwilling to lose the advantage one has over the other. Everything seems to be getting worse and worse, people are even telling you do not believe what you have seen with your own eyes, Lord Help us.  But God! Let us pray.

) 1We have been made right with God because of our faith. So we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.  2Through our faith, Christ has brought us into that blessing of God’s grace that we now enjoy. And we are happy because of the hope we have of sharing God’s glory.

We have been Justified by faith, we have been made right with God, God has declared us not guilty. We are no longer in a state of war with God. We are no longer objects of God’s wrath; we are no longer destined to go to hell. We no longer have to go through life hopeless. Our future possibilities have been opened; beyond anything we could even imagine. We no longer have to worry whether we are going to hell or heaven, our destiny has been settled, we have peace with God. The door has been opened; we now have excess to the throne of grace. Christ has removed the partition that separates us from God and one another, Amen,

Peace with God. Comes through and only through the atoning work of our Lord Jesus Christ. As the ultimate locus of God’s atoning wrath- averting work. Christ is the one through whom the believing sinner receives justification. Peace with God or reconciliation is now the new relationship, we have been placed into by God’s justifying act in Christ. Through Christ we have received reconciliation.

It is through Jesus Christ our Lord; we enjoy peace with God. It is also through Him that we have access into the grace in which we stand. Now this grace we are now speaking of is related to God’s unconstrained manner, which God acts toward his creatures, but slightly different. Let’s use the law as an example. Breaking God’s law is a sin. But when we look at it in context of the whole way of life, it is lived under the law. The law is the ruling factor. But now because of Jesus Christ the believer is not under the law, but under grace. Grace has always been a factor, but not like it became when Christ finished His work. Grace became the ruling factor, we are living under grace. Grace is the underserved favor of God, Amen.

Because we know without a doubt what God has done for us up until now, which is in the past, We can now look to the future with confidence, with joy, with joyful confidence. Not confidence in our own human achievement but, a joyful confidence, a boasting in Jesus Christ. To boast in our own achievement is inappropriate. But boasting because of the gracious provisions of God in Christ is entirely appropriate, because of what Jesus has one we are able to achieve those things that were impossible for us to even imagine.

And we also have joy with our troubles because we know that these troubles produce patience.  And patience produces character, and character produces hope.  And this hope will never disappoint us, because God has poured out his love to fill our hearts. God gave us his love through the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to us (Rom 5:3-5).

As Christians we are told by God that there will be suffering in our lives, but we are not to live as those who are without hope. We are to rejoice in our troubles. When trouble come on us, we are to understand that God will; allow these troubles in our lives to strengthen us, our faith. Suffering does not overthrow the reality of God’s blessing but the suffering itself is occasion for joyful rejoicing, I have on many occasions suffered for the troubles that I and my family had to endure on many occasions. For what ever reason, many of which I know why. But God and my faith in Him although I could have done things my way and overcome the situation, which would be a sin before God in which God would surely punish me, or I could trust God and endure the suffering and doing so, each time God has brought me out of it, and I was  always in a better position then I was before the trouble began. Praise God. The majority of the suffering you endure is because you are a Christian. In case you have forgotten Satan is your enemy, the attack on you reflects the conflict between this age which is controlled by Satan and the Age to come which Christian’s has been transferred by faith. It is important to meet suffering with the attitude of confidence and rejoicing instead of with doubt in God’s goodness and promise, or bitterness toward others, or despair these can bring spiritual defeat. You must have the attitude of confidence and rejoicing, This will produce in you valuable spiritual qualities.

The believer can rejoice in affliction because he or she know that affliction produce endurance, and endurance produce a tested character. And a tested Character produces hope. Suffering inaugurates a chain of linked virtues as a stimulus. As a result, the Christian that responds to suffering with the proper attitude will find at the end of the line that hope has been strengthened. Suffering rather than threatening or weakening our faith, will only increase our hope, Hope just like a muscle will not be strong if it is not used.

Christ died for us while we were still weak. We were living against God, but at the right time, Christ died for us.  Very few people will die to save the life of someone else. Although perhaps for a good man someone might possibly die.  But Christ died for us while we were still sinners. In this way God shows his great love for us (Rom 5:6-8).

  • Human love at its best will motivate a person to give his or her life for a truly good person (v7).
  • Christ sent by God, died, not for the righteous people, or even good people, but for rebellious and undeserving people (Vs 6).
  • Therefore God’s love is far greater in magnitude and dependability than even the greatest human love (vs 8).

While we were still in our sin and weak, and Godless Christ died for us. In other words, God’s love came to us when we were utterly helpless. God sent His Son to die on the cross for people who hated Him.

The very best of human love is God’s love, for he commends His own love for us in that while we were still sinners, He Christ died for us. God has poured out his love to us in the Holy Spirit Who God has given us. When we make a conscious decision to receive Jesus Christ as our Lord the Holy Spirit take up residence in our heart, He will always be there, until the day you died.

We have been made right with God by the blood of Christ’s death. So, through Christ we will surely be saved from God’s anger.  I mean that while we were God’s enemies, God made friends with us through the death of his Son. Surely, now that we are God’s friends, God will save us through his Son’s life.  And not only that, but now we are also very happy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through Jesus we are now God’s friends again (Rom 5:9-11).

If you don’t know God. This is how you can. God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but shall have ever lasting life.(John 3:16).  If you answer yeas to this question, Say this prayer. Lord God father of Jesus Christ, I believe that you sent your Son to die on the cross for my sin, I ask you to forgive me for my sins and be my Lord and my God.

If you prayed this prayer God Bless you, You have been born again.
